Exhibitor news: Waterscan wins national award for water recycling innovation01 Dec 2016
We are delighted to announce that our innovative approach to water recycling was judged to be the best in the business at the 2016 Energy Awards, held on 30th November. Beating off stiff competition from the likes of British Gas in the category for ‘Innovation of the Year – Technology: Physical Product’, our new technologies for greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting scooped first prize.
Energy Awards Winner Claire Yeates, attending the event for Waterscan, said:
“The Energy Awards are the utility industry’s main event, recognising and celebrating the achievements of companies that push the boundaries of customer service, employee engagement and efficiency. We continually challenge the industry with new approaches and technologies that put the customer firmly at the centre of water procurement and management, and so we are thrilled that this has again been recognised. It is the fourth consecutive year that we have been judged a winner at the Energy Awards, having previously been recognised for our work with Greene King, Sainsbury’s and Whitbread.”
At Waterscan, we firmly believe that greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting can play a significant role in many companies’ water strategies, which is why we set out to break down the barriers to incorporating such technologies into commercial operations. Our investment in research and development has created best-in-class water recycling systems which are considerably more feasible for clients in terms of payback, installation and reliability. With almost limitless design flexibility, our award-winning approach enables companies across the UK and abroad to be more water efficient and achieve a 30% faster return on investment for a true win-win.
