Bridget is Director of Corporate Sustainability at PwC with responsibility for the firm’s internal corporate sustainability strategy. She focuses on innovation and behaviour change for better sustainability performance.
PwC set 10 year targets to 2017, including decoupling its environmental impacts from its growth, and will update on progress – as well as launching its new 2022 strategy, in the autumn of this year.
Programmes developed to help deliver these results include: new standards in green buildings reducing energy by almost 50% and carbon by over 25%; a permission-based employee marketing programme, encouraging them to work more sustainably; an award winning online training course to create a sustainability mind-set amongst employees; a programme that applies the principles of the circular economy to PwC’s business; and the creation of the world’s first ‘total impact report’, monetising PwC’s economic, tax, social and environmental impacts.
Bridget is a Fellow of the ICRS, and was recognised as a “Responsible Business Game Changer” by BiTC.
