Nick leads IEMA’s policy and practice work on Climate Change and Sustainability and has responsibilities on Governance, Reporting, Energy and Natural Environment. He is leading new IEMA activity on Corporate Sustainability including its work with the Global Association of Corporate Sustainability Officers (GACSO) following merger with IEMA in 2014.
Working with IEMA/GACSO professionals and stakeholders, Nick has developed seminal practitioner sourced evidence and resources. These include the GACSO and IEMA White Paper - Defining Corporate Sustainability (2014), Special Report on GHG Management and Reporting (2010), Business Case Guidance for Climate Adaptation (2013), Climate Change Position Statement (2014) and several wider contributions and consultation responses influential in standards developments and in the UK introduction of Mandatory GHG reporting.
Nick contributes for IEMA into a wide range of sustainability partnerships and stakeholder initiatives. He is currently developing new networks of professionals on critical sustainability challenges and in particular on Climate Change and Corporate Sustainability.
