Adam is the head of sustainability at Surfdome, Europes largest action sport retailer.
He has spent almost his entire working life weaving his way through every aspect of the surfing industry. Eventually taking a break from the industry and founding an environmental company aiding business to become more sustainable.
He is now combining both his passions and is currently in the process of ‘Greening ‘ the company, with a headline sustainability strategy focused on marine plastic pollution. By the second year of the strategy Surfdome had eliminated the equivalent plastic as 1.2 million plastic bottles, they are now entering the third year. The company has experienced hugely positive PR around the strategy and it will result in financial savings. He is also using the companies influence to catalyse change in the industry it operates in the Marine plastic field.
All the while supporting The Plastic Project and #2MinuteBeachClean and establishing a highly efficient and sustainable state of the art warehouse facility.
