Head of strategy, digital impact and sustainability, BT Group
Howard is responsible for operational environmental strategy in BT Group, working with business units to deliver sustainable business and societal value from the group’s biggest environmental opportunities. He is currently leading on decarbonisation programmes including ultra-low emission vehicles, having previously been involved in setting BT’s 1.5°C science-based target and developing carbon-abating products and services. He has been in BT for five years following a career in management consultancy at GHD, KPMG and Arthur D Little, during which he advised many businesses and public sector clients on sustainability, environment and risk. He holds an MSc in Environmental Diagnostics from Cranfield University and a BSc in Environmental Geography from UCL.
